Gabion retaining walls are formed using a series of rectangular steel mesh baskets. The baskets are tied together with galvanised helicoils and galvanised wire to give a strong fixture.

Baskets come in flat pack form and are assembled on site. They can be used in a range of applications from small domestic projects to large industrial schemes.

The infill to the baskets is usually locally sourced stone ranging from 100-200mm and can have a decorative facing stone if required.

.Hand facing ensures that the wall has a good cosmetic appearance.

A gabion wall used in the correct situation provides a cost effective, strong and long-lasting retaining solution.
